Starting Jan. 1, a number of licensing deadlines in Netflix’s ever-shifting instant streaming catalog will come and go. For you, that means the service will lose 89 movies (by our count) and five TV series. These kinds of changes are pretty standard for Netflix, though the site makes it noticeably difficult to figure out exactly which films are about to expire.

Thanks to one very helpful Reddit thread, we now have a (somewhat) comprehensive list of what won’t be available at the start of the new year. There’s no telling when Netflix will bring some or all of these titles back so, if you’ve been holding out on seeing Breakin’ 2: Electric Boogaloo, you might want to fire it up before Wednesday.

Netflix Films Expiring Jan. 1:

The Rundown
Brick
Being John Malkovich
Back to School
Battle of Britain
Born on the Fourth of July

Some of those movies haven't even been on Netflix very long. I'm just glad they finally added Dexter to their library. Just finished season 1.
Does anyone know where to find a list of titles Netflix is adding in the near future? Phone Post 3.0

WTF?!
There are some truly epic movies in that list. Academy Award winners of Best Picture for Gods sake.
Why are they removing them?
Braveheart, Titanic, Platoon
How can you be a movie service without those.
I don't have Netflix and this sure doesn't urge me to join. Phone Post 3.0
