Lot of local guys were on the card, part of the reason for low salaries, along with the injures / weight miss that messed up the card. Phone Post 3.0

Those earning $1,000 were actually given a "gift basket" valued at $1,000.

Fucking hell, shocking. If you broke down the hrs you trained for said fight into an hourly rate the car park attendentat at the fights would be beating most fighters on the card financially hands down. That's unless of course their a secert locker room bonus that no one knows about and can be used to control fighters. Fuck me it's a upsetting state of a fairs. Image how the fighters feels, image how the ones who lost feel. They have agents, coaches, and expensive, ot's a fucking joke, but they want these guys to put it on the line for you, fucking do one. The losing fighter gets no money, no win and getting loads of shit from you arseholes on here, oh yeah plus possible risk to your health. Life as an MMA fighter equals living the dream (It's just a really bad one)

Kongo getting paid more then their champ. Whats up with Bellator overpaying ufc fighters at the end of their career and refuse the younger talent let go by the ufc. Phone Post 3.0

I am more disappointed in their Heavyweight Champ earning $17.5K/$17.5K than I am in the bottom tier guys making $1K.

And $900 of the gift basket's "value" was in a coupon book.

At this point they're just looking for ratings. Hence why they're trying so hard to have Mo/Rampage as champ. Can't really blame them at this point though. Kongo was def worth the 50 grand it cost them since this fight was one of the highest rated this season.

Sucks though that literally every fighter on the card (except for the main event) was paid less than the minimum entry pay in the UFC.

This thread better get bigger. If UFC paid someone 1k no matter what the reasoning, people would be here promising to never watch it again.
