lol yes i went there. both in thier primes...in a street fight.

both are super fast. pacquiao actually trained in both boxing and kickboxing growing up.

they are around the same size.same weight.

who wins?

sekundarburnes - the real fighter wins

Do you mean the boxer?

Cause that isn't a real fight, very far from it.

Much closer than being an actor in the 60s...

And I'm pretty sure that Pacquiao is also a skilled kickboxer

Bruce lee had some fights as well, may not have been sanctioned of course?

But he did develop his movie career through his COMBAT SPORTS training, or martial arts, and he practiced many of them.

So i'm not saying Lee would win, but to say "the fighter", when Lee probably had more knowledge in striking and grappling is just silly.

Pacquiao's one of the 50 greatest boxers of all-time with ridiculous speed and power for his size, in his heyday he hit as hard as a Middleweight and he was only like 127. Dude is a straight killer, no offense to Lee but he'd put him out in one punch

But they weren't combat sports, they were traditional martial arts (emphasis on the "arts" bit). You can practice your techniques your whole life, but it won't prepare you for a fight if you don't spar or compete. And there is very little evidence of Bruce Lee competing. Definitely none against anyone skilled. Hence him not being much of a real fighter, imo.

On the other hand there is Pacquiao, one of the greatest boxers of all time and a skilled kickboxer and world-class athlete. One of the greatest boxers of all time from 2014 beats a jackie chan ripoff from the 60s any day of the week

I'm not saying he wouldn't win, but to call one a fighter and the other not is silly.

I have little doubt pacquiao would win.

steven seagal is a trained "martial artist" and i'm sure he's been in some tussles as well, but no one calls him a fighter. comparing one of the greatest professional boxers to ever live to an athletic actor who invented a martial art no one has ever used effectively in a real fight is kind of silly.

bruce lee was a cool guy i guess but pacquaio is a professional fighter of the highest caliber

Pacman by KO. Afterwards Pacquiao helps him up, prays with him and, after finding out what Bruce's hometown is, builds a hospital there for the poor.

Lee would need a baseball bat to beat pac, even then if he didn't knock him out with the first bash, he would probably lose

The MMA scene has caused the younger fans to underestimate just how tough and skilled many pro and ammy boxers are. These guys grow up on the streets and usually start boxing to protect themselves in a fight. I realize that any purple belt in BJJ could take out Mike Tyson at his prime but you should probably respect these guys anyways.

All Pac has to is land. Im pretty sure Bruce got his ass handed to him when he tried to fight a real fighter. Bruce was a great martial artist with vision, but he wasn't that great at fighting from what I have read. Prove me wrong if I am. Phone Post 3.0
