"You need to express this to the owners that this situation could lead to something dangerous."

Again, everyone is aware of this situation. Thanks for your concern.

"Also try texting old manager if you have his number."

OK, I've been pulling punches on this angle, but I've said enough to make it clear that you should stop projecting your own inner dumbass onto the guy on the opposite side of the keyboard.

I really don't understand why this is such a dumbass idea. Unless this guy is in hiding go and confront him. If he gives you no information well you haven't lost anything.

^It's not a dumbass idea. It's a dumbass point because it presumes the guy you're talking to hasn't thought of it. Like anyone on earth wouldn't already know to ask the guy.

OP is funny, and really fuckign annoying.

In his first post, he ends with "Wat do?"

Then proceeds to shoot down EVERY single suggestion/idea/response.

Then resorts to name calling if someone responds having not ready every other post (all 84) first.

OP, go eat a dick and figure out your own shit if no one here can help you

sabotaged data, can't access any one's email

That sounds retarded. I am guessing that this company doesn't have an email server?

Just play dumb when he shows up.

New guy: "Hi, I'm here for my new job."

Employee: "I don't know what you're talking about."

New guy: "Bill hired me, I'm supposed to start today."

Employee: "Bill? There isn't a Bill that works here."

New guy: "I came in and interviewed with Bill, that's his office right there!"

Employee: "We can go talk to the manager in there and ask him."

Manager: "Yeah?"

Employee: "This guy says your name is Bill and that you hired him."

Manager: "He is lying."

Employee: "Sorry, sir. It looks like you are mistaken."

New guy: "That guy coming down the hall I met him!"

Employee: "Do you know this gentleman?"

BarkLikeADog: "I have never seen that guy before in my life. But I can tell that he's an idiot and makes stupid suggestions."

New guy: "Okay... I guess I should move back home then..."

"In his first post, he ends with "Wat do?""

In retrospect, I agree choosing "wat do" to jumpstart the thread was probably a mistake. I did correct it later, & here again.

"Then resorts to name calling if someone responds having not ready every other post (all 84) first."

The only thing I went off about was ridiculously insulting presumption, not the failure to read the thread before posting (which is an entirely valid criticism FWIW, just one I hadn't made.)

You seem mature & wise.

I believe they have a server for the security system, & another for POS. Everything else was gmail & other third party 'net shit. Appears that way, anyway. I'm not close enough to know for sure.

*My* company does not have a facebook page.

Their company website, facebook & other social media, gmail & other third party accounts are what was sabotaged.

"Check the managers work phone records."

They're on that, but as already stated it's very unlikely to turn up anything. Like many people, he used his cell for just about everything, & this was something he was specifically keeping quiet.

I'm hoping the guy called for directions or something else trivial. There's just about no way he was talking to the manager on the company line about anything.

BarkLikeADog - Manager had me interview a replacement for an employee he hadn't been getting along with. The replacement is relocating from another state specifically for this job. We'd kept this secret so the employee wouldn't quit early.

Owners ditch manager in the interim. The have no issues with the original employee. Manager sabotages company data on the way out, & won't cooperate at any level.

I'm the only one left who has even met the replacement, & I don't have any contact info. At the end of the month, this guy's gonna show up with a dream & an empty wallet, with no job on arrival.

Wat do?

Just a terrible situation all around.

Thanks for showing compassion for the guy...

Hope everything turns out okay...

Sounds very unprofessional to me for an interview.

If I was a manager setting up some one to do an interview with you (op), why the Fuck wouldn't you get CC'd on the email?

Best of luck Phone Post 3.0

^Yes, absolutely; "You are too stupid to think of talking to the guy" &/or "You are too moronic to know how to use a cell phone" totally deserved cunty the first time, much less the fifth. I apologize for not getting to it sooner.

"Sounds very unprofessional to me for an interview. "

This is where you draw the line for unprofessional? That he chose to speak to me directly rather than email me?

Not the sabotaging the company part?

Yes. He's unprofessional.

Yeah, people should have assumed that they shouldn't give you suggestions in a thread where you asked for suggestions.
