I don't know how you can train MMA and not do legs. The days we just box we end up doing squats until our thighs feel like they are going to snap. Boxing coach is all about some squats. Phone Post 3.0

This. Surprising how much focus is put on legs in just boxing workouts. And way more in wrestling.

Its impossible to ever skip legs as an average mma fighter never mind the lhw champ Phone Post 3.0

I have very long, thin legs. My upper body has always been naturally muscular and strong, but I have a hell of a time putting any weight on my legs and it takes a lot more work to make them strong.

I did a 5x5 squat routine where I was squatting 3x per week for about 7 months. My legs got a lot stronger and a bit more defined but barely increased in size at all.

I've also noticed that a lot of people who have well defined calves naturally walk up on their toes, which means they have basically been working out their calves everyday of their lives. I have a friend with huge calves and one day I noticed that his heels barely even touch the ground at all. I put a lot of weight on my heels when I walk.
