Big fan of silva. Do not want to see him fight like a zombie and get humiliated. He has nothing to gain. With many fans you are only as good as your last fight.

Anyone share this sentiment after this weekend?

His determination to come back after that happening is also why he is so deserving of respect. I'd hate to see him lose too but on the flip side, if he does come back and win spectacularly, then retire, it would be one epic retirement fight.

Diaz, GSP, then rematch with Weidman after he's lost the belt to Vitor.

diaz is retired, as is gsp. he has nothing to gain beating those two.

and vitor is not gonna beat weidman short of a miracle.

If he comes back i will watch for sure. Fedor is still one of the greatest ever even though he lost a few times at the end of his career. Silva will always be one of the greats even if he loses 3 more times. Id rather he comes back and finds out for sure where his skill level is than wonder if he coulda done it for years. Same thing BJ Penn said. Its better to know than wonder

Without knowing what he'll look like coming back I hope he does come back and fights Diaz.

And then maybe GSP or whoever makes for an interesting fight.

Well, Anderson is no BJ Penn and so is GSP. They got a team that care about them around them.

However, when you see how ugly BJ Penn's last fight was, it does makes you wonder. Not a good feeling at all.

He will come back & do a GSP superfight before they both call it a career and retire.

Mark my words.

GSP has nothing to gain by going back to 170. He's already established his legacy as one of the greatest ever + he just opened the window for Rory to get the belt.

He's taking time off to bulk up right now.

Anderson has already made it clear that he doesnt want to go after the belt at this point. Both have expressed interest in fighting one another. It's the prefect scenario & time to call it a career for both of them.

A superfight between these 2 doesnt hurt either of their legacies. Its a HUGE fight for everyone & God knows we've been asking for it for years.

Mark my words...

If GSP and Silva fought - what would each of them weigh on the night of the fight (not at the weigh in)?

Who are you? His mom? He is a FIGHTER. A true martial artist and needs to come back. I am a fan of his as well and wish the best. Jeebus, man. Go watch Oprah or something. Phone Post
