progressive rock...hard to pin down...sort of modern/70's kind of progressive- you will hear the influences yet they are quite unique...beautiful to listen to and definitely worth checking out if you haven't- to me they're like David Sylvian/Robert Fripp meet Yes meet Pink Floyd meet Radiohead meet World Music meet Hard Rock/Thrash in some places...all in the same song! here are some tracks to check out if interested: Even Less Gravity Eyelids Trains Waiting Phase Two

They're pretty good. Definately gotta be in the mood, but they have some cool ideas. Some of their stuff reminds me of The Rheostatics cooler stuff. Check out self-serve gas station or dope fiends and boozehounds.

Check out their two newer ones, Deadwing and Fear of a Blank Planet.

I got turned onto this band by a stereo salesman in New Mexico. Now, I see a lot of their stuff in high-end audio stores.

Their band leader (Steve Wilson) is into HD-DVD and DTS surround mixes. Good demo material, and fantastic band.
