This is an odd question, I realise.

I work in post-production audio (sound effects for movies/tv/video games). I love the way they use sound in Japanese movies, and I would like to go to Japan and work or apprentice in this field. My goal is to have saved enough in two years to be able to support myself for a while, and I have a few friends and my brother over there as well.

My question is, where can I  look for this type of work? I have no idea where to begin.

Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks

I plan on going over in the next year or two, I just need to get my savings together and learn the language a bit better. I can order beer and say excuse me, haha.

Teaching english is always an option, but I've been working at this career for a while so thats what I'm shooting for first.
