Hi everyone Marc here checking in from BLAUER TACTICAL head office. Just want to make sure everyone is up to speed regarding the Combatives Camp. Of the 40 available slots, we already have 28 reserved. Alot of Core Team members will be in attendance as well as some very special guests. Check out the info below and if anyone has any questions, please contact me and I'll help you out. See you in NYC!! SUMMER COMBATIVES CAMP 2004 DATE? The camp will take place August 13-15, 2004. There is a special rate for you if you stay at the host hotel, which is a suite art deco hotel in Manhattan. CAMP FEES: Pre-registration cost for this Advanced Session is $399.00 for Blauer Systems affiliates (PDR Team or course graduate). Non-member or guest fee is $449.00 A deposit of $200 is required to hold your spot. At the door (if space is available) the price will be $499.00. You must pre-register. No walk-ins. Registration fee includes: • Raffle Ticket for $349 Chest Guard • Meal ticket for Saturday night Banquet • 3 days of training • Friday light snack • 30% coupon for any video or audio *Room, travel and all other meals are your responsibility. WHERE? Each year we try to bring the training to some unique locale. This year we've selected New York City. Our host hotel is in Manhattan, our training locations include the hotel, Central Park and an off-site facility. New York is a great location whether you're driving and flying to the camp. This year should be our biggest camp ever so be sure you register early to secure your space. WHO CAN ATTEND? As many know our courses are often restricted or closed for individuals outside the hosting party. We only offer a few select 'open' training sessions each year and this camp is one of them. This year's camp and is OPEN to any one interested in the S.P.E.A.R. SYSTEM, Personal Defense Readiness or the HIGH GEAR Ballistic Micro-fight program. Special rates will be available for graduates of any Blauer Tactical Program. THEME? The PDR program and the SPEAR System are influencing training around the world. This event will be a unique opportunity to meet, train with and network with like-minded martial athletes from around the world. In attendence will be many PDR instructors, as well as police officers and some soldiers & security specialists from around the world who have graduated from our tactical courses. The curriclumn appears below. SIZE OF EVENT? In order to keep a manageable student-to-teacher ratio, we are trying to cap the student base at approximately 40. WHAT TO BRING? • Writing material for note taking. • 3 days training clothes - minimum. • Backpack/knapsack • Water bottles/towel • Training knife • HIGH GEAR not necessary for the session, but bring the HIGH GEAR torso component or SPEAR Coach Chest Guard if you already own it. Bringing your family? There will be tons for them to do while you're sweating your butt off… BOOKING YOUR ROOM AT THE BEEKMAN: Rooms for camp are just $125 per night plus taxes. This is for double occupancy. *If you’ve ever been to New York you know this is a ridiculous rate. Why so inexpensive? We have provided training for their executives and security over the years and so we've got a great relationship with the General Manager. This price is specific for Blauer Tactical System's team. SPEAR System Essentials " Sharpening " Strengthening " New dynamic applications #2. SPEAR System applications during Knife Defense (Ideal for your walk in New York after calls!) #3. Just back from Vegas. The updated NYC roster stands at 28 attendees. That leaves 12 spots left.

The current status on the Combatives Camp is as follows:. Several more people signed up during the PDR weekend. The total number od confirmend attendees now stand at 33. We have 7 spots left. Those of you who are considering coming, please contact me shortly so no one misses out. Train hard!!
