Chris, I started the extreme diet and exercise program on your website 6 days ago. So far I've lost about 6 pounds and everything is going very good. I do have some questions and I need some advice though. I do the cardio in the morning and before bedtime no problem, but I am unable to train bjj twice a day (only once a day). I have been doing a 45 minute circuit training routine on the machines at the gym instead of the second jiu-jitsu session. Is the circuit training an OK substitute? How fast should the weight be coming off? I would like to continue this program for about 3 weeks. Is that too long or would you suggest doing this program in intervals until I reach my desired weight? FYI. I started at 210lbs and would like to be at 195lbs after 3 weeks. My ultimate longterm goal is to walk around at about 170lbs.

I do it for about 6 weeks and it is murder. You can do it but maybe add some broccli or something for a veggie. The circut training is fine. I was just goving an example of my training in the day. I would think if you have it to lose 15 lbs shouldn't be a problem at all. Good luck and let me know if I can help with anything. CB

Understood, but I am doing this because it is time for me to get serious about training and self discipline. I think this program is a great way to personally test my mind and body. Plus, I have been committed to training BJJ everyday which will make me better in the longrun (or at least I'd like to think so...LOL). Chris, yeah, its been a rough week. I feel like I have the strength of a kitten in between workouts and at first my hunger pains where killing me (they are better now though). Anyway, thanks for the advice Chris and the encouraging words Zack. I'll post the result as I go.

Fo sho on the veggie, w/o it you dont get any Iron. and the last time I did that shit the doc told me I was becoming Eneimic (spelling????)

Just wanted to check in after 3 weeks of doing Chris's program. I'm weighing in at 192lbs today. Yeah!!! I surpassed my goal! I'm gonna take it easy next week and just do cardio in the mornings/evenings and eat clean. Then I will do it for another 3 weeks to hopefully reach 180lbs. Thanks for your help Chris.

howsyourhead: Unless you're female there's no way that diet should be causing you to become anemic. How old are you by the way? If you're anemic the doctor should be finding out why...I'm a medical student so when I read these threads certain things jump out at me :-)

The doc told me when I got a physical before my last fight right when I had been cutting for like 4 weeks. He said it was from lack of veggies when I told him what my diet was. I dont know shit about it, thats just what he told me.
