What are the best FMA instructional tapes? I have some filipino 'derivative' instructional tapes in my collection (Frank Cucci, Hock Hochheim, Vee Arnis Jitsu), but no pure FMA. Can someone please recommend me some good tapes? Thanks.

Panther had some available with a guy named Arsenio Advincula (I probably spelled his last name wrong). They were produced during the 80's. See if theyre still available, they were very good!

Nowhereman22000, have you checked out the Dog Brothers? www.dogbrothers.com These guys train full contact Filipino stick-fighting with minimal padding. If you like what you see, let me know, I have their first set of tapes (Real Contact Stick Fighting, vols 1-6), watched them only once, great stuff, but I'm now focused on Judo, will let you have them for a good deal. i would second the recommendation to the Dog Brothers first series. if you are a beginner, this series focuses on what you really need to develop/practice to get your FMA to work realtime. DBMA's main FMA influences are ILK, Lameco and PT. although what the DB do is short of reallife, it's a lot closer than say WEKAF styled tournaments. the first series is geared towards solo training. the second series is geared towards partner training. hard to recommend without knowing your focus for your FMA training. is it self defense? is it for exercise? is it to propagate the system? do you want to go out and actually stickfight without armor? with padded armor? etc.

Dog brothers tapes are the best, but I think Inosanto's tapes are a good overview also. After a while, you'll outgrow them, but they're good to have as reference. DB tapes you'll never outgrow. I hear their 2nd series is even better.

"hard to recommend without knowing your focus for your FMA training. is it self defense?" I'm just starting out, and want to pick up the basics, with a focus towards self defense.

theMachine23, I just ordered the 3 of 9 template DVD. I'll put up a review after checking it out.
I went to a Sayoc and Atienza demo last week, and it piqued my interest.
