I train at COMBINED MARTIAL ARTS in Astoria, Queens BJJ is taught by Carmine Zocchi, brown belt under Marcello Mello. It is a hardcore gym with lots of pro fighters. Muay Thai and Boxing programs as well.

I train at the Serra academy. www.serrajitsu.com RobF - Yes primarily BJJ is studied at Serra's but we do have guys that fight in various MMA events including the UFC. Usually our guys train their BJJ at Serra's and their standup (boxing & MT) at Ray Longo's place in Mineola. Some notable names to come from these schools would be Matt Serra, Nick Serra, Pete "Drago" Sell (choked out Phil Baroni at UFC 51), and Luke Cummo from The Ultimate Fighter season 2, just to name a few peps...
