i want to make a wallpaper. i want to repeat the yin/yang symbol say 10 x 10. is there an easy way to do this other than working with 100 layers and manually pasting and placing the symbols? TIA.

To do stuff like this, I usually Place the original in the top corner and (w/move tool) hold "alt" and clinck/drag a new copy to the next section. Once you have 10 wide, merge them and start going down.

Open the ying yang symbol, edit, define pattern, name it. Then create your new file and select, edit, fill and select pattern from the pull down. Then select the pattern you defined from the custom pattern pull down and click ok.
