Hey chris, I am competeing in kickboxing and MMA when I can, but Im having constant issues with my weight. I am about 177cms and I weigh about 80kg at about 7 or 8% body fat. I eat cleanly, and keep my carbs to a minimum. Everything I do seems to gain me muscle, and then its nearly impossible to get rid of it again. I wish I could be 70 but think that is far gone, so i would be happy to sit around 76kg or 77kg. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks. Ben

Hey Chris, this is Ben's training partner..... ok 80 kgs is 176 lbs...76 kgs is 167.2 and Ben is now wondering about cutting to 74kg (162.8 lbs) but is unsure if he could do it safely.

look at the need help cutting weight thread by miller. Chris is right i took his advice running b/f breakfast for 35 min .... taking in only 2100 cal, 200g protein, and 250g carbs. Make sure to eat quick absorbing carbs and good amount of protein right after lift....quick absorbing and slow absorbing in the morning after run. Night after run Small amount of carbs milk is what i use that way it feeds all night i'm less sore....skim that is.....chris whatcha think...I took your 170 lb diet and made some mods...good/bad....seemed to work for me.

Seems pretty good to me.  I don't see why he can't make it healthy.  Or at least as healthy as weight cutting is.
