3 years ago I would have said MassDestruction. But now to me it seems like that promotion is the on-Ramp to being a Pro. I have a friend of mine thats in excellent shape.Almost at purple belt level in BJJ, Stand-up skills are half way decent. I'd like to find him a fight for a promotion to fight for.

I don't think we'll see Maffei promoting again in the near future Varner/Littlefield is probably your best bet, they're having a show on Jan 29th in Taunton - email Lit at boneyardlit@comcast.net Bruce's email is ichiniban@aol.com - it seems like he's always running a show ...and if your guy can sell a good amount of tickets, getting a Mass Destruction fight isn't out of the question - Kipp's email is president@nagafighter.com

"I don't think we'll see Maffei promoting again in the near future" Knowing Joe Maffei very well as a student and friend, I am very confident he will be back and deliver a great product....and hoepfully I will be fighting in it!

Varner/Littlefield's show would be great to a newcommer as would be Mario's show.  Mario Ramos and Zach Tessler's World Fight League had a good kickoff show in February and already has a second show scheduled for May.  Take a look at www.worldfightleague.com
