I have a sony midrange DV cam and its got great pics but it really limits my movies due to the lens not being able to take any wide angle shots. Is there a solution?

There should be a wide angle adapter for it.

go to www.bhphotovideo.com and check them out. What camera are you using and I can search around and see what is out there.

I don't think there is much you can do with that one. Sorry. It is a European version correct? I don't think we had the TRV16E here. The lens won't really allow for much, I don't believe.

I wasn't all that thrilled with the wide angle lens I got for my VX-2000. Didn't make enough difference.

LEMon...to be honest, I don't know that much about that camera. Worst case scenario, it's only $100 so it won't be too big of a loss. I'm sure you'll see some difference but with this type of lens system, you kind of get what you get. It's hard to do too much at this level of camera. They don't really offer too many options. Let me know what you decide. I did look at a bunch of english sites and read the specs on it. Not much I can see. 0.6x mag that's about it. Should help some though.
