What are your thoughts on the concept? Cashing in on previous sucess, or could it actually be good. When I saw the poster I thought "How could they do that again?" Then I saw the preview and was like "Well that could work."

hrmm...well, it was a trilogy in japan right? I'm assuming Hollywood is gonna try to remake the whole trilogy...

I don't think the remake has anything to do with Ringu 2 and I don't think they'll do a prequel like Ringu 0.

It was a trilogy, but it seemed to me the later two werer just made to cash in on the success of the first. I thought they were both pretty lame, no comparison to the original.

It's a lot like Tomie too. Most Japanse fiction is based around evil physic girls. Or big robots. Maybe next they've have big robots pioloted by evil physic girls..... wait been done Evangelion.
