I went last night. It was beautiful. Cold and clear. Very bright. I could probably see a pig at 100 yards. If one had shown up. No luck. Again.

Oh no! That would be illegal. I go by the moonlight, usually over a sandy road. I believe I could have shot one 100 yards away that night. If I am in the woods and they are coming to a feeding area, I will use a very small flashlight. This is legal in my state. I have shot several in such fashion.

I was semi kidding with the night vision goggles comment but is it really illegal to hunt using them?

In Georgia, all we can use is a light of 6v or less.
