yes especially when you agree with someone, but then you realize just as many people agree with whomever wrote just the opposite. And you both have no real proof of anything other than nothing at all...

"That applies to sofware engeneering too..." the infosec profession is required largely because most programmers and software engineers can't build secure software worth a damn, or software worth a damn in general.

It is simply exercise for those faculties that allowed us to start walking upright, making tools and building better mouse traps. the cirular thinking is probably more by-product than the result of any particular cognitive faculty we have. the mind is what the brain does.
