The Metaphysical Club by Louis Menand it's a history of the birth of Pragmatism, as embodied in the lives of four of its framers: Oliver Wendell Holmes, Charles Pierce, William James, and John Dewey pulitzer winning, and very deserving of it. truly an excellent read!
