Hi, I have a few suggestions. Instead of offering 3 dollars for every ticket sold, offer a percentage, say 25 percent of the face value of the ticket will goto the fighter. For ringside the fighter would get $5, 2 rows back $3.75, general admission $2.50. This would make a fighter want to sell the more expensive tickets, putting more money in your and his pocket. Also you would probably get a lot of reliable amature fighters if you offered $50 gas money. Just my opinion. Good luck with the show.

I have one other idea. If $50 gas money is too much for the promoter to pay out, maybe he could comp the fighters 3 or 4 general admission tickets. That could be a little incentive to help get fighters and put people in the seats. If you have 20 fighters thats 60 to 80 general admission seats. Also if you have consession sales thats more people buying food and beer. That could be a win/win situation. Just my opinion. Good luck. Bob.

Good luck on your show. Like me know if you need a "Sate Licensed Judge" as I am one of only about 8 guys that are licensed in the state of Ohio to Judge MMA. I would be happy to make it if I am in town (may be at NAGA Pro-Am in Florida). - Dustin Ware
