Um... for grappling, Dragon Lair. For stand-up, Sityodtong. Any other incredibly difficult questions?

Better question (in my opinion): Student biases aside, what is the best MMA school in MA?

Student biases aside? Reality Self-Defense, without question. Anyone who second-guesses the knowledge of Joe Pomfret should be hanged in Bridgewater center.

On top of that, Joe Pomfret is genuinely one of the nicest people I've ever met.

At the risk of a hanging, I do sense some bias... But I am looking forward to coming to your school's grappling league this summer, so please leave your noose behind... RSD and Boneyard seem to be the same distance from me (a very long 2.5 hours), and both seem to be FANTASTIC. I just need to figure out who I am going to hire...

If you want to learn how to do ninja-style headkicks that knock people out and totally make them crap their pants, come to RSD. If you like Mike Littlefield slapping your ass after you do a good armbar and nicknaming you "Sweet Meat" then, by all means, go to the Boneyard. In all seriousness, Boneyard seems to have more guys around your size. The best fighters at RSD are all small. Our whole fight team ranges from 140-160 lbs. However, I'd suggest you try both schools out before deciding.

There are a lot of good schools within about 40 minutes of each other. RSD, Boneyard, and South Shore Sportfighting all seem like good schools, and their fighters always do well in local fights.

"Sweet Meat" - That is SOOO funny because that was my nickname in high school (insert easy "at least that's what your mom used to call me" joke here). I'll have to come play with you guys soon - I'll be sure to ask Joe first, just out of respect.

"Joe Pomfret is genuinely one of the nicest people I've ever met." JP makes the pope look like John Wayne Gacey. "The best fighters at RSD are all small. Our whole fight team ranges from 140-160 lbs." You gonna take that Biggie?

He tried that on me once and I bitch slapped him. Its ok though he can take rejection. He just puts his head down and heads over to Lance.

Yeah, I'm beginning to think that it might be safer to lose in the ring than to subject myself to any of you guys... The physical damage from the ring should heal fairly quickly, but there seems to some deep and permanent psychological damage that you all share. I am fearful of contagion... ...and please tell me "Dynamo" isn't your super-hero alter-ego...

All kidding aside though, try to make it to all the schools mentioned above. Even just to meet the people who train there. See who you click best with.
