I was thinking about getting an iMac G5. Now, I love using Final Cut to edit, but I'm not a professional or anything. Honestly, its just cheap - and it looks like it could work. Here are the specs - 2GB DDR400 SDRAM Memory • 160GB Serial ATA Hard Drive • 20" Widescreen TFT-LCD Display • AirPort Extreme Card (Apple Installed) • 1.8GHz PowerPC G5 CPU • Complete MS Office for Mac ($250) • Final Cut Express 2 ($199) • Full version of Quicken for Mac ($60) • SuperDrive (DVD-R/CD-RW - Burns CDs and DVDs) • NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200 Ultra w/64MB Video Memory any thoughts?

The Imac G5 will totally work with your system. I would upgrade that video card though.
