I'm taking my national registry exam on Monday (16 MAY 2005). I'm talking about the written exam--I've already passed the skills labs. Please, please, please, direct me to any good websites, etc. you can think of. Unfortunately, it seems that it's pretty fruitless to try to find braindumps or suchlike via Google. Any quickly-implementable advice would be helpful as well (stuff like "know your significant MOI's" or "know what the normal ranges of vital signs are" etc would help). I'm going to be reading this thread again tomorrow morning so anything you tell me can't help me unless it's something I can implement over about 12 hrs. "Go out and buy Review Book X" is absolutely NOT fruitful to me at this point. A million, billion, trillion thanks in advance!!!

Sorry, got this late... You really can not study for the test as I am sure you have seen. Best advice...don't read into the question. Use what is there and assume nothing more.

I got a 73. Passing, sure, but very disappointing. That test was the trickiest SOB I've EVER seen--even compared to exams in college, I.T. certification exams, etc. I'm glad to have it done and over with.

Awesome job!! Welcome to the EMS family. Don't worry aboyut your score. That test is nation wide and designed for various departments. Here, our fire dept does the EMS, so most of the test doesn't really apply to the 2 man rural situations. You find that knowing the basics and your skills are much more important.

Thanks guys. In retrospect the only advice you can really give someone on this test is to be well rested and have something caffeinated to drink while taking it. It's LONG and I think a lot of those who failed did so because their minds wandered and they made careless mistakes.

alot fail because they read to much into the question...they assume much more. Just use the info they give and take the best answer.
