i would have loved to see him take out that elk without any weapons. hed be deader than a doornail. fucking pussy.

everyone on here talks about how weapons in a streetfight are for wimps, yet weapons in nature are some how macho. what a load of shit.

You don't need to kill something to get it's picture.

Just curious, in hunting etiquette, are you supposed to kill animals like that? the great, big boss animals?

lol at BonetheDome's Uncle Jimbo reference.

I seriously do not understand the concept of killing something for sport.

The old spare it a terrible death excuse doesn't work for trophy hunters. They take out an animal in its prime. That thing could have gone on for several more years. Let it have its fighting chance against nature. Go find the aged bull that's by itself walking feebly if you're going to use that excuse.

I'd rather have the satisfaction of seeing such a majestic animal and getting a picture of it than shooting it.

"Are you saying he didn't shoot the elk with a bow and arrow?" I'm saying he DID use a bow. I was correcting your comment, because you said he used a gun. From: Nick Date: 09/15/05 06:10 PM Member Since: 01/01/2001 8474 Total Posts Ignore User Like this is an accomplishment. OK, I went to a game preserve and shot an animal with a gun. Big fuck.

Jeezus, calm down people. Are all americans this sensitive about hunting, or are mma guys just more PETA oriented then the rest of the population...:) Good looking buck. And do you guys think that he was gonna live forever? He would have died a more painful death in the wild, thats almost a hundred precent sure. You dont get painkillers for youre fatal illness in the wild, even though you guys may think so just because you're pet bunny was always taken to the vet when it had a cold. Wolves start eatin their prey often when its still alive... But ofcourse, since you're not hypocrites you're all vegetarian. I mean, it would be ridiculous to point the finger on a guy who kills a wild animal with one arrow instead of torturing it in a meat factory for a couple of years, prodding it to a truck, driving it for 12 hours without water and then slaughtering it. Buying the meat from o concentration camp like that, now thats ethical.. Personally, for me, I dont care if an animal dies. He didnt know he lived, his consiousness is centered on eating and shitting, and it is us, that give it human qualities. Mainly you americans who have been away from the woods too long:) We finns are a bit closer to the cycle of life still, and can look at things prehaps with a bit more common sense. Torturing an animal is something that I think is almost as bad as torturing a human. It feels pain, and fear, and a person mutilating an animal lowers himself to a level beyond animal-like. Therefore, in a sense, I feel that hunting is more humane then raising cattle. But Im sure you vegetarians agree...

i gotta give the guy a little more respect for using a bow...as that takes a bit more skill than a gun....but all the same....that's fuckin' sad to kill something so uncommon and so beautiful. hunting for food is one thing. trophy hunting is fucking sad
