Saturday night, the No. 5 ranked Tennessee Volunteers face the No. 6 ranked Florida Gators, in their first conference meeting on the year. The teams have faced each other only 34 times in the last 100 years, with Tennessee leading the series with Florida 19-15, but the Gators are 15-11 against the Vols since '50. The Gators have gone 7-5 in Gainesville during that span, but have lost their last two home games against the Vols. The Gators (2-0 SU) got the best of the Vols (1-0 SU) in the '90s under Steve Spurrier with 8 wins in 12 meetings, including 5 in a row beginning in '93. However, the Gators have lost 3 of the last 4 meetings.

The Gators are coming off a 41-3 rout over Louisiana Tech last Saturday night, while the Vols have had two weeks to make adjustments after squeaking out a 17-10 victory over UAB on September 3. The poor outing in that contest dropped them two spots in the Top-25 rankings.

Can first-year Florida head coach Urban Meyer lead the Gators to the ticket window as the chalk? Or will the under dogged Vols bark? Find out Saturday at 8:00 pm EST in this great rivalry.
