I have a BS, but it has done me absolutely no good. I'm thinking about going back to get my accounting degree but I work over 60 hrs a week. Are there any programs out there that would provide enough money for a guy to quit his job and go back to school? I wouldn't totally quit though, cuz there is something I can do on the side.

Stafford loan will allow u to borrow up to 10500. I'm going to get into NURSING. I decided to switch career fields also. An ACCOUNTING DEGREE will be excellent. My ex gf makes 50k in her 1st year out. I hate ACCT.

I thought I hated it at the time too. There are so many ways to make money with that degree though.

"being a bean counter is not easy and an accounting major is QUITE DIFFICULT...rivaling ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING..." Somehow, I doubt that. I have worked with plenty of accountants in my former life as a Financial App DBA. Electrical engineers actually have to know how to do math.

Anyone ever do those scholaship books that list all the scholarships they have available? I have a guy I just took a class with, he said he very rarely pays for a class.
