Hi Chris, I was looking around on BJJ.org and saw you listed as a black belt under Rigan Machado. Just curious but are you training with the Gi nowadays? Regards, Mat

Since he's in Europe....

That's a different Chris Brennan.

Joe Moirera --> John De La O--> Chris Brennan--> Jeremy Williams

For some reason that site doesn't have him up there.

He posted on another thread that he has no idea why he's listed under Machado as he was promoted by John De La O.

Ive heard that De La O did not get his belt from Joe but Reylson, when Joe was teaching in Corna del mar school that John was not even a blue belt,Joe has said that for a long time,Ive talk with alot of the old school students of Joes, they never saw him (John) in class or belt changes.

Are they going to add Jeremy to the list of black belts on BJJ.org? Or is this going to be a problem?

I think bjjlady was just trying to show that John De La O did NOT get his blackbelt from Joe Moreira.  As the person hired to put up Joe's site, and given the list by Joe himself, I can say with certainty that Joe did NOT promote him to blackbelt.  Whoever did, I do not know.

What has that got to do with Chris?  Not a hell of a lot, in my opinion.  I don't think there is (or should be) any doubt of Chris' abilities on the mats.  If Chris really even cares, I am positive it would be easy enough to get someone of unquestionable BJJ ranking to verify his abilities.
