When I look into my 2004 Nikkan Sports mook, Imanari's past experience is marked as blank. When Kakutougi Tsushin did their yearly profile issue, his history section did not leave a style. I remmeber he was in the "UWF" Kingdom Ergheiz Shoot-Style Pro-Wrestling group but i dunno if that was before or after his training. So the question is, is it vaguely possible that sleazy Hidetada Irie taught him everything? Irie was a regional Combat Wrestling Champion. Has anyone here even atleast visited Team Roken?

Thats cool and all Gunjin but I tried a Jumbo Tsuruta Jumping Kneebat when sparring and it didn't work out. Same with Caol Uno. Though I thought he was doing a Tekken Flying Kick.

He was doing legit shoot matches in Kingdom Ergheiz. (I don't know if all of them were shoot, though...) He fought Barret Yoshida in a special grappling match four years ago (11/21/04. Barret choked him out in 4 min). He was already recognized as a leglock phenom ("ashi kan jyu dan" which literally means "10th degree black belt in leglocks") at that time.

Ehrgeiz (I misspelled it) is apparently a German word for "ambition."
