www.XSsights.com

Is anyone else using these?  I put them on my G19 a couple of months ago.  They are by far the fastest sights I have ever used.

how well do they work at the 25 yard range? I've heard good things about them... I liked the Straight 8 concept (dot over dot) but the dot-the-I visual looks better.

They work great at 25 yards.  Where they really shine is on moving targets and/or while you are moving.

Last Monday I was doing a private with my firearms coach.  His name is James Yeager and he is the owner of the firearms school that I teach for (Tactical Response).  We were working on "aim small miss small" and we wrapped up the day shooting torso sized steel targets at 100 yards.  I had no trouble at all hitting the target using both a G19 and a G26 (both with XS Big Dots).

A slightly differing opinion.... I had a set of AO Big Dot express sights on my Glock 30. I really didn't like them. I shot better with the traditional three dot setup that I was used to. I did give the Big Dots a fair shake, and left them on for about 15 months. Now I'm using a set of Truglo Fiber optic/Tritium 3 dot sights for my 30. I do a lot better with the three dot sight setup and find that the smaller front sight seems to help me get on target quickly and accurately. While the XS sights were faster for my friends shooting the gun, they didn't work as well for me. If you get a chance, try them out. A lot of people like them, and they are sturdy sights.

That is a great point. While most of our instructors are fans of the Big Dots there are a few that prefer a different sight set up. It is always a good idea to try and get some trigger time with (fill in the blank) before dropping the cash.
