Friends,
Does anyone here have a recommendation for a good student loan company to work with?
I'm currently a 35yr old, full-time cube gnome and part-time student, but this September, I'm looking to go full-time at school and to get a shit night/weekend/part-time job just to make rent and buy food. I'm pretty sure I'm going to need some help in covering tuition and books.

The problem is, I really need two phases of loans.
The first one I'll need will probably determine that I make too much money to get any assistance or deferment, because the wife and I combined make $100K+/yr. (In NYC, and with our combined CC debt, this is actually not much.)
For the next loan, and all the ones to follow, I'd need would be for when both the wife and I will be dirt poor, so I'd be more likely to qualify for assistance or deferment in interest.

Anyone had a good experience with a loan company under either circumstance?

PS. I just found out I got an A+ in my first physics class at CUNY. AMPED! MOTIVATED!
