Who do you think built them? Was it a long gone super advanced race of humans, like the Atlanteans? A bunch of primitive Egyptians who used a pulley and lever system to make something that to this day cannot be recreated? An Alien race? Or something else? I also learned recently that the Sphinx is much older than the Pyramids and noone really knows who or what put it there.

Egyptians built them. FOr something that can't be recreated, the Aztecs sure did a good job, building some pyramids that were even bigger thousands of years later. Not bad for a people that didn't even use the wheel for more than children's toys.

"Egyptians built them. FOr something that can't be recreated, the Aztecs sure did a good job, building some pyramids that were even bigger thousands of years later. Not bad for a people that didn't even use the wheel for more than children's toys. " The Aztec Pyramids were very different in shape and design to the Egyptian pyramids, and which one is bigger than Giza? In any case there is a theory that some of the advanced beings from Egypt may have moved to the Americas at one time, or the members of the same race set up home there independantly. The 'Winged Disc' symbol from Egypt had been found on buildings in the Aztec ruins. A few years ago a Japanese firm attempted to build a Pyramid of the same dimensions and specs as Giza and they eventually gave up, saying it was impossible. The gemoetrical dimensions and the way the Pyramids align with the stars and the sun has still got scientists baffled today. If humans did build them then they used a technology still unknown to us. Possibly an anti-gravity technology based around magnetism. One thing for sure is that it is impossible for them to have done it using wooden ramps and primitive leverage systems, as some "experts" have tried to say. "What is your philosophy on the origins of the pyramids? " Not sure myself, there are theories that they emitted energy and were used as a power plant of sorts. Others say they were beacons for creatures from outer space to use as a signpost when entering our orbit, same with the Easter Island statues. I dont think it HAD to be aliens that built them but it sure as hell wasnt some dumbass Egyptians who hadnt even discovered the wheel at the time they were built. They might have been built by a super race of humans, who were wiped out thousands of years ago and to this day, we are still catching up to their level of technology.

There are rooms inside the Pyramids that are full of detailed pictures and writings on the walls, it would have been pitch black in there and impossible for them to have done the drawings unless they had some type of a light bulb. They could not have used oil lamps or wooden torches because the soot and carbon desposits from the smoke would have left an indellible residue on the walls. There is no such residue. In ancient Babylon (Now Iraq) archeologists found an ancient battery, when it is filled it with an electrolyte solution it produces electricity.

The jars are believed to be about 2,000 years old and consist of an earthenware shell, with a stopper composed of asphalt. Sticking through the top of the stopper is an iron rod. Inside the jar the rod is surrounded by a cylinder of copper.

The battery is unrelated to Egypt but it just shows that the ancient world wasnt as primitive as we are lead to believe.

Don't discount the possibility of the reptilians. The Sleestak built all those pylons and the lost city. That took some mad skillz.

BMT have you ever heard of the Coral Castle in florida? I hear it get mentioned when people talk about how the Pyramids were built. The guy who built it refused to tell anyone how but he indicated that he had found a way of making any material magnetic and used magnetism as an anti-gravity device to move massive objects. He got the shit beat out of him by some corporate energy goons who wanted his secrets and he got scared and moved away, and died a poor man.
"If you had visited Coral Castle 60 years ago, you would have been greeted enthusiastically by a man weighing a mere 100 pounds and standing just over 5 feet tall. He would have asked you for ten cents admission and introduced you to his fantasy world carved out of stone. As you moved around his rock garden and the significance of each piece was explained, you could not help but notice the great pride Ed Leedskalnin took in his work. Since it is documented that no one ever witnessed Ed's labor in building his rock gate park, some say he had supernatural powers. Ed would only say that he knew the secrets used to build the ancient pyramids and if he could learn them, you could too! Today, you can leisurely tour Coral Castle via our new 30 minute state of the art audio tour. Hear this fascinating story in English, Spanish, French or German, and see for yourself what millions saw on national TV's "That's Incredible", "In Search Of...", and "You Asked For It!" Even rock star Billy Idol wrote his hit song, "Sweet Sixteen" about Ed's lost love. Now we wonder what exactly was the source of inspiration that drove this man for 28 years to carve a Coral Castle from the ground up using nothing but home made tools from junk parts. Unrequited love? Ancient sciences that defy gravity, or just sheer, raw human determination? The Coral Castle is an everlasting mystery to those who explore" LINK

"NINE-TON GATE
The Nine-ton Gate is truly a monument to Ed's genius. The gate, originally used as a turnstile, is perfectly mounted and balanced so that a child can open it with the touch of a finger -a remarkable achievement considering its size and weight. The gate is approximately 80 inches wide by 92 inches tall and is 21 inches thick. The gate fits within a quarter of an inch of the walls on both sides. The mystery of the Nine-ton Gate has been documented on TV's "In Search or', "That's lncredible" and "P.M. Magazine." Publications ranging from Reader's Digest to the National Enquirer have sent reporters to the castle and numerous scientists and engineers have tried to seek the answer to this seemingly impossible feat. No one could discover how the diminuitive creator found the perfect center of gravity enabling the gate to be opened by the simple push of a finger. Then, in 1986, the gate stopped opening. A team of engineers was brought in for consultation. In order to remove the gate, six men and a 50 ton crane were utilized. Once the gate was removed. it was discovered that Ed had centered and balanced the nine-ton piece of rock on an old truck bearing. He had drilled an almost perfectly round hole from top to bottom of the eight-foot-tall gate with no electric tools. Today , a laser-contrqlled high speed drill would be used to do the same work. The Nine-ton Gate, complete with new bearings, a replaced shaft, new lubrication and a re-bonding of the stone pieces with a state- of-the-art adhesive, was lifted and set back into place on July 23rd, 1986. Sorry, I just realized I saw this on "In Search Of" some years ago (leonard Nimoy's voice popped in my head). I'll see if I can locate it online if it exists.

Im personally a fan of the theory that giants built them. You know, either that or a shitload of laborers forced to do the work that genius minds of the time thought up for decades on end in miserable conditions.

Atlantis could just be a word that refers to a highly intelligent race of humans who were wiped out by the great flood. A few of them survived and ended up in Egypt and the Amazon and a few other locations around the world. They used what they could to try and rebuild the culture but they were severely set back because they had lost all of their resources and technology. Every generation after them was a bit dumber because they had never grown up in 'Atlantis'. Only now are we beginning to get near the level that we were at prior to the great flood. Thats just what i've thought after reading a zillion different theories on the subject. It still doesnt explain where the Atlanteans came from though.
