that library of alexandra, what a tragity in human history. The accumulated knowledge of all books, phylosophy, science, ideals, everything from that ancient era of man destroyed. Is that going to happen to our library of congress? you think the internet will save it? its sad if you really think about it, what happened in ancient times. If that library was still around... just imagine the history it contained, ideas of science, enginering, theories of the brightest minds of that time. Shit even thier history books from thier concept of ancient civilizations. also if you look at the advances in geometry and calculus a lot of the formula's came from that era. Example... plathagrium therum (spelling), so forth. It isnt so far fetch to believe that there are lost ways of doing archetecture that they created in those days. Thats all those guys did back then. it was considered a testamant to the might of thier civilization, similiar to how landing a man on the moon is a testamant to our advancement of civilization. When you have the greatest minds of a generation, backed with an unlimited pool of slave labor and the financial backing of the greatest nation of that time, set on accomplishing something, that something will get done. Even if its making pyramids line up with stars.

""When you have the greatest minds of a generation, backed with an unlimited pool of slave labor and the financial backing of the greatest nation of that time, set on accomplishing something, that something will get done." " Even the orthodox, scientific Community along with Egyptologists don't buy that any more. They think if anything it was built by Worker and Volunteers. Eventually they'll also break out of the idiotic Idea that egotistical Pharoahs built them as Tombs even though there is no Proof or Evidence including a Mummy ever found in a Pyramid.

What they were for is up to debate. There are many Theories. That's what they are until we get Evidence. What they weren't for was Burial. That's what the Valley of Kings was for. Egyyptologists think that their very Words are Evidence. Everyone else has Theories. Egyptologists think in their Minds that their Theories are actually Evidence.

"I think it is possible we were originally a race from Mars that had to leave that planet due to cataclysms and settled here, thus the ancient advanced civilization and advanced technology to build the pyramids."

Theres no evidence to indicate that. In fact there tons of evidence directly against it.

Actually, the Irish built the pyramids, then the weather got too hot and we moved to a more temperate climate, everything was cool until the neighbors got the bum rush, then crazy people moved in next door. It's been a hassel since then.

"Gays built them." Negative, interior decoration is too bland.

By viewing the size of the alien giants in those drawings, one can only imagine the size of their ships. The desert would make a logical landing zone for a ship of that magnitude. The question is, why did they leave or are they still among us?

"There are rooms inside the Pyramids that are full of detailed pictures and writings on the walls, it would have been pitch black in there and impossible for them to have done the drawings unless they had some type of a light bulb." Not if they were done as the pyramids were being built, and before the next layer went on top.

My guess is Ancient sumerians with the help of their 7 foot tall red headed aliens. Maybe without the 7 foot tall gingers but I still think the Ancient sumerians built them and the Egyptians just came across them and claimed to be the ones that built them.

According to the verse in the Torah the Jews built storage cities, Pithom and Rameses. Pithom is probably ancient Tanis, and Rameses has been identified as either Pelusium or Quantir. None of these places had pyramids, and pyramids were certainly not used for storage. They were tombs of the Pharaohs.

Sources:

  • Exodus 1:11
If one man truly deserves credit for advancing the claim, it is Charles Piazzi Smyth, the Astronomer Royal of Scotland during the 1860s. Among Smyth's works is Our Inheritance in the Great Pyramid, a book claiming that the complex at Giza was built by Jewish slaves who labored not under Pharaoh's chief architect, but under the direction of divine inspiration. Now, 150 years later, serious academics do not pay much credence to this theory. But when it was first published, it was highly popular among Evangelical Christians and Jews, such as the British Israelites, who were sprouting up throughout the British Empire in the 19th century.

Evidence about who built the pyramids lies scattered around Europe, thanks to the continental empires that for centuries plundered and dispersed ancient Egyptian treasures. Working with tools ranging from the Palermo Stone, a tablet taken from the Valley of the Kings outlining the chronology of the ancient kings, to the writings of the Greek historian Herodotus, some Egyptologists now argue that ancient Egypt's rural population was the group that actually built  the pyramids - and that it did so not in bondage, but as a more complicated form of tribute to the pharaoh.
