I've seen a lot of them in pubs on my travels, recently shook hands and had a chat with John Terry and Frank Lampard, both cool guys. Nothing can compare with the day I went for pints with Georgie Best, total legend with a heart of gold.

Compared broken collar bones with Gary Stevens in a pub on Marylebone High Street, met Trevor Brooking at a dinner, Ian Wright at a book signing and Pat Jennings when he hosted a pre cup final lunch - can't think of anymore at the moment.... GF

I once took a tour of Goodison (praise be to the name) and met the whole squad circa 1999. Most of them seemed totally bored.

Neville Southall's sister used to live next door, and we often saw him walking his dogs through the park when we were playing.

LOL...I saw Jonathan Davies (Rugby player) being led from a bar in Tenegrief many years ago...absolutely hammered. Couldn't even string a sentence together.

Not so much a recent footy player, but I shook hands with Alec Ferguson once.

I have played heads and volleys in my street with Shola Ameobi (he was shit then too) Also went to school with Michael Chopra so played with him a bit. (Much better than Shola!!) Used to play against Carrick when I was growing up, he was nothing special at all, there were loads of people better than him. I've met Kieran Dyer who is actually as much of a prick as you'd imagine.

"I've met Kieran Dyer who is actually as much of a prick as you'd imagine." Why am I not surprised..... Had a few beers with Steve Foster and Ricky Hill when they were playing for Luton - saw them in "The Boat" on Tyneside, got chatting to them - both top blokes.... GF

lol @ the boat. I actually was in a bar in Newcastle and the Newcastle players came in obviously on their Xmas night out. When we were leaving we saw Kevin Gallagher land a quality right hand on Kieran Dyer's (not small) chin whilst calling him a little cunt. Good times.

Nearly forgot. I was over in Brazil for a BJJ competition. I met up with Ronaldinho, Ronaldo, Robinho, Baptista, Roberto Carlos, Adriano & Cafu for a little game of 4 on 4. I was with Cafu, Roberto Carlos and Baptista, we hammered them 7-0. Ronaldinho just couldn't get past me.
