I'm known to have a bet or two. Ive made a few quid aswell. But I'm getting a bit shit these days because i'm spending too much time working and studying and can't study form and make good decisions. Do you guys bet and where do you bet. I do a lot of stuff on betfair. We're a pretty small closeknit group here so we should start a bit of a betting group, coming up with tips for each other.

I do sometimes but football is hard to win decent money on. If I do bet I usually do accumulators where I pick 6 or 7 games.

You can win some decent money on football with betfair in my opinion. You can LAY a team, which means you only lose if the team you picks WINS. If it only scrapes a draw or something you still get your money.

Which games Chris? I always find that the most obvious game fucks it all up.

One sec I'll dig it out. Last week I got screwed over by what should have been solid results. Worst was about a month ago when the only reason I didn't win £2.5k was because Arsenal lost away at Blackburn...

Stake: £5 Return will be: £1,485.99 Odds: Not fucking likely Thing about betting on the top teams at this stage of the season is that if they've already gone up, will they: a) field a full strength team? b) try?

Some decent bets, don't think your balls to the wall bet will come in though. I remember the last time I had somethgin similar on and it was fucked up by Liverpool losing at home to someone shit like Fulham. Scouse twats. Hear about the bloke a few years ago that won millions as before the season started he correctly predicted the winners of The Premier League, 1st Division, 2nd Division, 3rd Division, Conference, Spanish League, Italian League, Champions League and World Cup on an accumulator. It was something similar to that anyway.

yeah, he only put £1 on too I think. Such a quality shout. I always think of doing that, but your bet might have failed already after 2 months which would be a bit of an anticlimax.

Depends how close the leagues were. This year at Christmas you would have picked Chelsea, Reading, Don't know, Carlisle, Accrington. Would have been academic except for League 1. Plus Celtic and Gretna for their respective divisions in Scotland. The odds would have been reduced very severely. I don't think anyone however, would have predicted Reading would piss the championship, or Accrington would finish so far ahead of Hereford.
