Joey, just wanted to know what day the odds will come out this week. I assume you will post odds for both of those good scraps on Wednesday ESPN? Thanks.

Wednesday and Thursday. A ton of boxing bouts this week along with the OWGP. I am hoping someone opens the GP before me. I will hold out as long as possible because I'd like to bet it before I put my numbers up. My #'s on the GP are already made and heavily opinionated, but I wouldnt mind grabbing some free money if anyone decides to open b4 me.

damn, what a ballbreaking boxing card this week...........

I have all but maybe 5 bouts of 16 new additions ready to send out in morning.  may hold off on the last 5 till thursday and hope to see an original number elsewhere on the DKP or GB cards.

My Pride OWGP odds are ready.  I like 2 plays in particular that I think  other sportsbooks may overprice.  I'm just sitten out as long as I can.

Good luck getting the rest of the numbers out. With 16 fights on the board plus the 2 up already, I hope everyone here picks their spots carefully. I'm pretty sure at least half of my picks are chalk. Dogs I like are Feliciano, Divison, and Mayol. I like the GB card the best and see most of the favorites winning. I'm probably one of the few but I will stay away from the De La Hoya fight given the amount of other fights offered this week; I mean honestly how many De La Hoya fights are not without questionable decisions/results. I would like to hear what everyone else wants to play(of course after you've had a chance to attack the line tommorrow). Good luck to all bettors.JK

Thanks Joey. I don't blame you for holding out. I never see anyone opening the "smaller" scale boxing cards ahead of you. Those fights Wednesday and Thursday are really good cards for ESPN. That Felicano-Gomez fight is a guaranteed war. Taiyashi,I also think Mayol is a very live dog, which I bet at +275 a while back. Feliciano is live also. I just don't know how much price you will get on this one.

...........all the boxing up to 5-5-06 has been sent along with my OWGP odds. I just got them out about and hour ago.

I will likely send the GB and DKP card tonight or in early morning.

Mayol is very live. I seem to have underestimated him a bit, biut I think he will have a hard time winning this bout if he doesnt KO or hurt Eagle badly b/c he cant outbox Eagle IMO.

You will get a nice price vs Gomez, I dont see upsets on Contender card without KO's.  ESPN judging has been god awefully biased and the Contender judging...........I often wonder do they have judges or is it predetermined.........lol.  I passed on a line on the Division bout.  He has been scheduled to be the opponent in 2 different bouts this week., cant see how a guy can be focussed.

Anyways, thanks and best of luck.

I agree with what has already been said about holding out to exploit weaker lines. FightingMajor,I also caught Mayol early at +325 mostly because every Filipino who gambles with their heart was going to put coin on Mayol and it gave an opportunity to hedge my risks if I wanted to play safer later in the week. If anybody wants a prediction try Pacland to get a completely unbiased opinion on all Filipino fighters.j/k. Even though he is live, I am starting to really lean towards Kwoya again based on his improvements since I last saw him. I was picturing Kwoya in the Aguirre fight for reference for some reason but his power and punching technique has really been improving. I honestly don't think it will be Kwoya fighting on the backfoot but Mayol. It changed my opinion quite a bit. For Wed.'s card I am looking forward for Narh to show his stuff in a step up fight for him. I really think he is a very capable prospect and he will pull out the W; I want to stay away from the Mitchell fight because both are coming off losses and Mitchell happens to be a fossil.Thursday card is definitely about Gomez/Feliciano moreso than Mora because you know what you will get. I've been a Feliciano fan since he beat Cadenas and (should have won against) Gonzalez, who were both undefeated at the time and Jesse was still relatively fresh. He has been through some rough patches lately but the added weight seems to help him although he isn't any less careless but that's what made people Feliciano fans to begin with. Then we still have Sat. to look forward to with at least 8 spots to pick. It truly makes you feel like a kid in a candy store when 18 fights + Pride are offered in 1 weekend, both for bettors and fans.

By the way, type in Pacman's name in your yahoo browser to find Pacland. Go check out their forums for video on both Mayol and Kyowa. It should be in one of their sub-forums. Goodluck with your picks,JK

I get alotta my downloads there. Great site, but naturally hugely biased. Pino fans support their guys huge. Mayol has heavy heavy hands, but Kyowa is better and slicker boxer and the hometown guy if it gets to the cards.

Agree completely with Joey. Kyowa is slick as they come. I got +292 on Mayol as it turns out, and I like his chances to land something big. He has great hand speed and power. I visit that Pacland site every couple days looking for downloads. I assume the completely unbiased comment was a joke. Damm, most everything is unplayable on the Pride card. Is it just me, or does Pride seem to be heading more and more toward mistmatches. There are a couple close odds on that card, but not many.

Yeah, it is a great site to pick up files. If you check out the Mayol sub-forum every member has picked Mayol by midfight ko/tko. So, yeah take what you read with a grain of salt. I'm honestly would not be suprised to see Kyowa win inside but thats the great thing about these fights that showcase contrasting styles. Right now I'm on Mayol but his lack of solid competetion brings extra doubt I wish wasn't there. JK

Wow, just watched the Narh fight. Wow not because it was a barnburner type of fight but split decision? wtf indeed. It made me sweat but the right man won. Up 9 units for the day. JK

Split decision was indeed a joke for that one...complete domination. Watching these outdoor fights is kind of weird.

Opened that low and they bet  Quinonez up to -150 late.  Opened Mitchell lwoer and they bet him up.  I thought Shjarmba was a shot fighter, but apparently not.  Cruz overtarined maybe? Coming in so light.  1-1 for me on teh night betting as I grabbed Cruz +155 and Narh +140 late.  A small winner on the night.

Did anyone see the Overeem +160 and Alex +140 elsewhere.  They werent there too long.

Why don't you try fucking up on a few lines, like the other guys. I get tired of betting your lines. Seriously, I also played Narh tonight +125 for 2x. I also like the over on the Mora fight. Why the hell would you bet Mora to win, when he will take it to a decision to win. He looks in great shape, so he will be slithering. I've got Mayorga to win by KO 1x +575. This is a little crazy, but I can't shake the feeling that the pressure will wear the "promoter" down. I took Cro at -550 3.5x. Don't see how that one can lose. I will probably drink a lot of beer this week. Fights Wed, Thurs, Fri and Sat, what more can you ask for. Only problem is my wife tends to go to bed without giving me...

Fujita at -300 is a sound bet for me. Thompson is totally outclassed here.

I layed -275 myself on Fujita.  I agree, I dont see him losing. Overeem has crossed over and is favored now at most places, and Alex has been getting bet pretty good.  I like both those sides and them and Fujita were the ones I was looking for.

Mayorga is  waste of money IMO.  But if you bet him, by KO is only way 2 go.

The logic, or perhaps illogic, that I used to take the stab, is; 1) Oscar coming off layoff, 2) Oscar not focused on boxing, 3) Oscar may not have the heart any longer for a war, 4) Mayorga only trained for under three weeks against Tito, 5) Mayorga seems to be in great shape this time, and 6) He definitely has KO power and will pressure the whole way. I question Oscar's warrior spirit the way he layed down last trip out. Something like that. I will be hoping heavily for lighting in a bottle.

All excellent points FM...here's my general  thoughts

1) Oscar coming off layoff, true and prob best reason 2 bet against him , but so did Tito comin off the retirement bench.

 2) Oscar not focused on boxing, nah.......he is focussed on makingmoney... maybe even Mayweather in september....he never really hung up the gloves and still isnt ready to.

3) Oscar may not have the heart any longer for a war, ......he wont quit vs Mayorga, Oscar trained hard and appears prepared to box 12 rounds.  A loss here  would tarnish his career.

4) Mayorga only trained for under three weeks against Tito,  he didnt train much now....not much sparring in Managua.

5) Mayorga seems to be in great shape this time,  see above

6) He definitely has KO power , I think its a tad overated.....and Oscar has way better whiskers than Tito.

I just think Oscar at 70% is a better boxer than Mayorga ever was. Two diff classes of fighters IMO.  But who knows. Hopefully an enetertaining bout.

I definitely agree Oscar is a much better boxer than Mayorga. I took out my smallest play amount 1x on Mayorga just to try to catch a big one. I think things set up for this possibility. One thing is for sure, you can't hit the big one, if you don't give it a shot.

I think DLH definitely has good enough whiskers to fend off getting knocked out by Mayorga.
