Hey guys, Here's a pic from my recent trip to West Virginia where I spent the last few weeks shooting my latest documentary "Coal River". This documentary focuses on Mountaintop Removal Mining in the southern coal region of WV. I'm here shooting Larry Gibson on top of Kayford Mountain overlooking one hell of a massive mountaintop removal mining site. His family's cemetary is on top of this mountain and he is fighting to save it.

Thanks for the support! This project is pretty intense. I shot over 20 hours of footage, 17 interviews and around 700 stills whilst I was there. I'll be shooting over the next year there. Today I spoke with someone about a house there to rent for 12 months. I'll be back and forth for the next year shooting there and other locations. Next month, I'll be shooting in DC, NC and VA then heading back to WV for awhile. Larry's story is only a part of "Coal River".
