Mick I think you're a psychic. Pardew is now officially fired. The players should be ashamed of themselves. They brought this on, from what I've been told, a decent manager.

Best coverage of matches in the states is on Setanta Sports via DirecTv. Setanta is owned by Sky I believe.

Yes Setanta is great....but I don't even have cable TV!!! I don't actually think anywhere in my city (Indianapolis) has Setanta either. Webtv...it is for me!

Setanta is Irish isn't it? They have a good number of Premier League games next season. I just hope they have improved since I last watched a match on there. I paid about a tenner for it and there was no sound for about 75 minutes! (Better than Motson I know)

I think the word "clear out" will be coming into play here pretty soon. It was pathetic.

I'm just glad I didn't watch that garbage. I tuned into the Man U - Newcastle match. That was entertaining. Especially seeing the young Canadian score. Wonder if he'll skip out on our national team like some other nationals do..........*cough*Hargreaves*cough*. Not that I blame him.

But seriously what the hell happened to WestHam. Isn't this squad vitually identical from the one last year? Other than Ashton, who else hasn't played, or did they get rid of? The games I've seen this year, I haven't been impressed with any of the heroes, if ya wanna call them that, from last season. Reo-Coker has been shit, Harewood has missed every chance he gets, Zamora has been silent since the first few games. Didn't Benayoun just sign a big deal, he's been shit. Konchesky has been horrid, actually the back four have been shit in almost every match. Gov, is there anyone on the team that you think hasn't been an embarassment? It'll be pretty sad if the only answer to that is Sheringham.

They've really struggled to replace Ashton while he's injured. Ashton took so much pressure off the midfield by holding up the ball and allowing them to push up. Also he was getting goals out of nothing before he got injured. England could probably do with him too.

didn't see any of it....3 points would have really helped though....I don't like the little point gap that is there right now.

On the plus side, West Ham figured out how to score again. Now they just gotta figure out how to stop the other team from scoring. They've given up 9 goals total in their last two premiership games.

So now that is Calum Davenport, Boa Morte, and Quadshie(sp?). Ashley Young turned WestHam down, but Curbs is still fighting hard for Lucas Neil, and trying to get another striker. Yet no one has left the club yet. That is gonna be one full lockerroom. Ya likin the singings Gov. I know its too early to tell how it shapes up on the field, but on paper does it look good?

I'm certainly not overly impressed by the signings...but Curbs has always been a low key type of manager. I don't think he is a "big name" type of signer. He has been in this position plenty of times, I 'm just going to put faith in him and hope for the best at this point!

I can't see the locker room remaining this full, something has to give IMO.

Offside......... Final Score 2-1......... Or that is what the papers shoulda said. With that in mind, I gotta admit that Newcastle deserved the tie, just not that goal in particular.

That sucked.....I couldn't watch the end of the game....I was hoping they'd hold on!!

First goal was complete bullshit., but what you gonna do!. We could of had 6 points these last 2 games, instead we have 2.....those 4 points would have made a huge difference, I don't want to believe this is a sign.....but, it sure looks like one.

I agree it should have been given as offside, the rules are very sketchy and Birmingham scored a similar goal against Newcastle on Wednesday. Although, watch it again and you do have to wonder what Roy Carroll could have done differently had Parker not been there. He dived full length and still couldn't reach it so Parker or not it would've went in.
