The MIT open courseware is probably what you are looking for. It has lecture notes for Cognitive Processes etc. Here is the link. http://ocw.mit.edu/OcwWeb/Brain-and-Cognitive-Sciences/9-65Spring-2004/CourseHome/index.htm Link to open courseware stuff: https://cognet.mit.edu/library/ocw/ I know you've already said you've looked at Wikipedia but the pages on cognition and perception are pretty good. The cognition page had a whole heap of links down the bottom. The perception page is a bit weaker. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cognition http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Perception The wiki book looks ok too. http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Cognitive_Psychology_and_Cognitive_Neuroscience I've always liked the Thinking.net page. It has a link to cognition. http://www.thinking.net/Cognition/cognition.html Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy has an entry for Epistemological Problems of Perception http://plato.stanford.edu/entries/perception-episprob/ Perceptual Science group at MIT http://web.mit.edu/persci/ Here's a whole heap of videos from a cognitive computing conference. http://broodsphilosophy.wordpress.com/2006/06/15/online-videos-of-philosophical-lectures/ Archive: http://cogprints.org/
