Yup...we had a great crew from the 34th BCT that just left for home. I know my Airborne brethren can come w/ it strong....

Jeff, We are having a hard time finding someone to take over the Combatives Program. CPT Heymann and myself have put in a lot of time and effort. Got a fullsize ring, Mats all donated. Any luck with that list of instructors/fighters. They really don't have to be instructors as long as they have heart. Let me know! Thanks

Well, were still searching for someone to take over the program. Time is getting really short. I would hate to have everything we accomplished get pushed to the side... Sorry, just venting out loud.

Second that! I'm not a smack talker...but do I have to start an open challenge to all of the 82nd guys here? With two BDEs, and their strong emphasis on and support for Combatives I can't believe there isn't at least ONE guy willing to step up and keep this program going?!

DJ, I have been in contact with most of the guys I know from 1st BCT that are over that direction. Most of them have replied that they just do not have enough down time to commit to anything. I will keep putting the word out to see what I can round up. Jeff

Jeff, Thanks Bro, as you know they don't have to be certified, they just need to have heart and know some moves.

Jeff, I've been out of the loop for a couple of weeks but I stopped by yesterday and saw a Soldier (Unknown last name and rank) from the 504th that was real modest about his two years worth of training in Brazil. Watching him, you can see that his skill level is far beyond the others. I'll get you his name so you can get him into your program. How the hell did you get me to scout talent for you? Anyways, the 1BCT Soldiers are being professional students, I just wish we could find one person that will take the complete program and make sure it continues to grow.

504th is my old Unit. I know they got a young guy right before they deployed that was a Purple belt. Could be the guy.

We found a Level three to keep the program certifiable. SSG Clemons from the 603rd out of Fort Polk.

SSG SIngley, Thanks for all of the hard work and time you put in to the program this past year! We couldn't have done it w/o you.

Sir, No matter how much time I put into the program, with the Soldiers it would not have developed into what it is today! Train Hard!
