What is the consensus? Do you think feelings and emotions can be reduced to processes of the brain and all, "folk psychology" will be eliminated in the future? This is quite an in depth topic so write as much as you'd like without the fear of a FRAT. I am certainly interested.

Depends on what do you mean by "eliminating" and "reduced". Folk psychology is not inconsistent with physicalism - all metaphysics get their topics from folk theory. The point I would be willing to defend to the end is that no matter whether you can or cannot explain the subjective away in the end it doesn´t make any difference. Subjective phenomenological viewpoint will still be as important as ever. And that is why I am not very interested in this particular metaphysical debate.
