I'm in favour of England and Scotland scrapping their respective league Carling cups and having a British cup pitting all league clubs from Wales, England and Scotland against each other. Anyone else like this idea?

its a good idea and one that i've thought bout for a while. but i doubt it will happen because of the structure of the different countries leagues. the welsh league is very sub par. i think it would also be too massive a competition to run especially with other competitions the champions league pretty much does this but a teams place is not guaranteed, as the teams in wales scotland and england have to finish at the top of their leagues and then some of them have to qualify too

not that difficult to run and organize I imagine. Just have all the teams in all the respective football leagues placed into a draw and then have them duke it out in a cup competition. would certainly spice proceedings up IMO.

There would be way too much trouble at the games, particularly Rangers and Celtic fans in England and the Police would never let it happen. Rightfully so, let the bigots stay up there with their Catholic Protestant bullshit.

Not to be cruel or anything, but wouldn't it just be the FA Cup with special guest quarter finalists Rangers & Celtic?

Think they'd be lucky to make the quarters.
