Say in the future when I'm rich, it would be rather cool to purchase a football club and try and make it successful. What are clubs languishing in the bottom division or thereabouts that have good potential to be turned around and taken to the premiership? OXford Utd? I remember the days when they were a regular fixture in the top flight. Bristol perhaps? How much could these clubs be purchased for?

Oxford were owned by Robert Maxwell, so that;s not a good precedent. How about a shitty Welsh league club like Conwy United? Much better than some evil English capitalist enterprise

What is needed is to purchase a club in a big city that has been starved of football success for decades. What about purchasing and then merging Bristol city and Rovers? population: approx 400,000

I wouldn't think the fans of both clubs would appreciate that. Notts Forest would be good to invest into.
