Whast the general concensus of opinion on this 'Event'? Entertaining spectacle? Waste of space? Valable part of world football? Another Mickey Mouse affair? I ask because the event is being held on my doorstep next week (well not literally, my doorstep isn't really big enough for that) and I was toying with going along? But the only real team with a chance is Barca, and I guess its so obvious that they have been seeded and don't even have to play untill the later rounds. Reckon its worth going along and checking it out or just saving my time money and money for something a little more fun and worth while?

Mickey Mouse Cup and just an excuse to make some money. But if the tickets are resonably priced (doubtful) I'd probably go along. I bet the beer over there in Japland is about a tenner a pint is it? Good job you're a beer fairy Opash!

Tickets are about 25 notes. Beer can range from 2.50 to 6 quid for a pint. But then the quality can range a lot too.

Inter are in the final so if they're up against Barca that might be a decent game. 6 quid a pint?! *faints*

I would check out the Barcelona vs. Inter game if the tickets were not too expensive. Maybe even Barcelona vs. Club America.

Yea, it's bullshit, but how often do people in Japan (or wherever it is being held) get to see teams like Barcelona play? Being in America, I jump on any chance to see any top European team play live.

I'm trying to get the Barca game because supposedly Giovani dos Santos is gonna start. He's supposed to be the next Ronaldinho...
