One of the best skills you can have is the ability to learn anything quickly. I am fairly good at that naturally, but I want to improve it even more. I heard about people like Anthony Robbins who taught himself Calculus in 3 days, or people who can read entire books and understand it within one hour. Please let me know if you have any resources or books you used to increase this ability. For me, NLP books helped, but they apply more to life, seeing the big concepts and such. I am still a slow reader and I usually just bs my way through school without even looking at the materials. I want to change my habit. Thank you.

if you really developp this skill, you will get whatever you want.....and even more if you are young. Personnally, when I need to learn something, I do it just before sleeping...and I read it again in the morning. It is a well know fact that when you learn just before sleeping, the learning will continue all night long during your sleep.

Interesting...I heard that before as well. However, the problem seems that if you read right before you sleep, aren't you more tired and thus can't focus as well? I tried that for a while and always end up not doing as well as I normally would since I am more tired and less focused. Thanks!

you could learn calculus in 3 days, the reason you don't is cos its boring as fuck and your teacher only has 1 hour to teach it to you along with 30 other morons

Seriously, expecting to learn to assimilate things in 3 days is ridiculous. If you could do that, you probably would have alot of personal issues(megalomania, etc.) Everyone learns with different emphases, but everyone uses all the different types of learning. Process, Visualization, Analytical, structural, etc. The more layers of different kinds of learning you can apply to to a subject, the faster you will learn.

Chang "I heard about people like Anthony Robbins who taught himself Calculus in 3 days," I call bullshit on this. Calculus is a pretty deep subject. You might be able to do limits and integrals with self stufy, but at its higher levels "or people who can read entire books and understand it within one hour." Again, I call bullshit. I know a little bit about "speed reading" and its not supposed to be all that great for comprehension.
