He's a bit liberal for some but I suggest you look at his website and see his platform, he has alot of good ideas. www.kucinich.us

Kucinich is a democrat. Also, there's a reason for primaries, if Hillary wins then she's the frontrunner and the real democratic candidate for president. I highly doubt Dennis Kucinich will win, but he has a powerful message that I think anyone can sympathize with. Also, he doesn't accept corporate handouts. All the money for his campaigns are from grassroots organizations. Basically it's a guy who's not a corporate whore running for president. Same guy who was mayor of Cleveland and told a big power company to fuck off rather than allowing the people of Cleveland to be stuck with a company that intended to overcharge them immensely. They tried to bribe him by saying they'd forgive money that the city owed them if Kucinich supported them. He told them to take a hike.

Maybe, I'll have to double check. I just got an email from Dennis not too long ago stating his intent to run again. I wouldn't be suprised if he went independent, he's an enigma all his own. I hope you all watch the videos, especially the second one where he lists all the shit that congress hasn't authorized the president to do yet he's done anyway.

I don't remember hearing him say much that I didn't think was a good idea or a good thing to say. But he is unelectable. Girly-men and nerds don't win the white house, and he's one of those for sure. Not sure which, but even Hillary has a better chance.

Fraser is correct. We need to build a big, brawny robot-frame to house the diminutive Kucinich-sprite.

I realize it doesn't help that Kucinich is 52 and still has an 8 year olds haircut. He's no girly man though, he's got more courage than you give him credit for.

Do many people outside of the Cleveland area know of Dennis? Just curious... I'm from the area, and remember when he was mayor.

I assume you would have to be a pretty politically active liberal to know of him. If anyone remembers the debates last election between Kerry, Edwards, Sharpton and Kucinich you can watch as the talking heads from the media do everything they can to shut down Sharpton and Kucinich while sucking off Edwards and Kerry.

Being courageous and not being a political girly-man are completely different things.

Ohio Democratic voters at this early stage [1/31/07] clearly favor Clinton as their nominee over Sen. Barack Obama of Illinois and former Sen. John Edwards of North Carolina. She got 38 percent of their support compared with 13 percent for Obama and 11 percent for Edwards. The Ohioan in the race, Democratic Rep. Dennis Kucinich of Cleveland, would get only 2 percent of his party's votes. Quinnipiac also found that only 18 percent of Ohio voters had favorable views of Kucinich, while 37 percent held unfavorable views. http://www.cleveland.com/open/plaindealer/index.ssf?/base/ispol/1170248192291530.xml&coll=2

I am not delusional enough to think Kucinich will win, and to be honest neither is he. His main goals is to push his platform and to push his Department of Peace. I've met the guy several times and he's a really nice and honest fella. He'd be an awesome president but this country is too stupid to pay attention to him. www.kucinich.us

Everyone acknowledges that our government is a corporate whore on both sides. A guy comes along who, by all accounts, is not a corporate whore. And who clearly has the best interests of the people at heart - not pandering to a specific demographic, or any PR stunts, but who actually has idealism which is rare on the beltway. And you bash him for it. (I'm looking at you, Republicans)
