Jiu-Jitsu superstar Mackenzie Dern and Rickson Gracie’s daughter in hot dance
Let’s face it, when it comes to marketability in women’s MMA and grappling, sex most definitely sells. If you are an attractive female fighter you are going to have a huge leg up on your competition in terms of popularity and the kind of money you can bring it.
Just look at popular WMMA stars like Paige Van Zant, Miesha Tate, Ronda Rousey and Gina Carano too from back in the day. If they looked like trolls from under the bridge their careers probably wouldn’t have done as well as they have. That’s not to say they don’t have skills as well but their looks sure help their brand.
In this video we see BJJ hotties (and MMA as well for Mackenzie) practicing a new dance routine and they look great doing it. For those not aware, Kauan Gracie is the daughter of the legendary grappler and fighter Rickson Gracie. Kauan, like the rest of her family, is also an avid BJJ practitioner though she does not compete in MMA as of right now.
Mackenzie Dern on the other hand is both a BJJ practitioner as well as professional MMA fighter with an undefeated record of 2-0. Mackenzie also holds a very impressive win in grappling competition over the massive BJJ and MMA fighter Gabi Garcia who is literally twice the size of Mackenzie. All that size did not phase Mackenzie though who danced her way to victory at the 2015 Abu Dhabi open weight championships semi finals.
