Jiu-Jitsu white belt goes crazy in fitness center
n Brazil, at the Aguadilla Fitness Center a bizarre event took place in which the video of said incident can be seen below. The episode involves a possibly mentally ill man, a gym full of people and weight lifting equipment, nearly all of which could be used as a dangerous weapon, and one heroic savior…how could this not end spectacularly?
One thing that never ceases to amaze me and what I find interesting is that nearly every incident I witness from the country of Brazil involves someone, on some level, utilizing or attempting to utilize the martial art of Jiu-Jitsu. I’m not sure if it is the country’s strong martial arts heritage or the fact that Brazilians may just possibly be better at fighting than the rest of the world’s general population.
Needless to say, the incident is entertaining, perplexing, confusing, and even a bit sad once we realize exactly what is going on.
The gentleman in the video below did not enter the gym with open arms by any means, as a matter of the fact, he did not even enter the gym through an open door. This man allegedly came to the gym earlier in the day looking for “Ivan”. Whomever Ivan is, he apparently has upset the antagonist of our video as he was quite upset at this Ivan character.
After being asked to leave, the man returns to the gym that evening during rush hour, however; employees refuse to let him in as he seems even more irate than before. Not to be deterred, the gentleman proceeds to beat on the glass doors with his bare hands until he shatters them and then enters the premises looking for Ivan.
What we witness below is saddening when we realize exactly what is going on: the man is screaming about a rape and a man named Ivan…after a psychologist, who was present, evaluates the situation, the conclusion is drawn that there is a strong possibility that “Ivan” does not exist…
