In the iconic 1985 film Rocky 4, Ivan Drago, played by Dolph Lundgren, brutally battered the returning former champ Apollo Creed, played by Carl Weathers, and tragically ended his life.

Drago even callously remarked “If he dies, he dies,” following his brutal victory. Apollo’s buddy Rocky would end up avenging his death though in epic fashion later in the film.

In this funny video, though, we see the pair rematch some 30 years later albeit in the virtual world in what looks to be Wii Boxing.

This fight goes a little different than their first bout as Apollo has a lot more success than he did in the film and even drops Drago. Much like in the film, however, Drago emerges victorious once again in the end but at least no one dies this time around.

Now, where’s Sylvester Stallone to avenge his fallen friend once again?

The film Rocky 4 was one of the best of the series and probably had one of the most epic training sequences out of all the films. It didn’t quite have the same heart that the first Rocky had, though, which many critics agreed with as well.

In real life, Dolph Lundgren who plays Ivan Drago in the film actually has a legitimate background in Kyokushin karate. He achieved a black belt in that art and was a competitor as well. He also trained in both judo and another style of karate called Gōjū-ryū. He also had a boxing match against former UFC fighter Oleg Taktarov where he lost a decision but looked pretty good.

Hans “Dolph” Lundgren (born 3 November 1957) is a Swedish actor, director, screenwriter, producer, and martial artist.

Lundgren received a degree in chemical engineering from the Royal Institute of Technology in the early 1980s and a master’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Sydney in 1982. He holds the rank of 3rd dan black belt in Kyokushin karate and was European champion in 1980-81. [Source: Wiki]
