Rapper Riff Raff challenges 50 Cent to a boxing match
One of the strange current trends in hip hop today is rappers wanting to lace up the gloves and fight each other, despite having no martial arts training background. From Chris Brown wanting to fight Souljaboy, now Riff Raff wants to fight too against fellow rapper 50 Cent and for 2 million dollars no less.
Though from this video, Riff Raff’s boxing technique is quite amateurish and is going to need some work. He does appear to have some power though, as he turns his hip over nicely and pivots on his rear foot when throwing his power hand.
His potential opponent 50 Cent has always been rumored to have a boxing background but it doesn’t look like he has ever competed so who knows who would win this potential match.
Riff Raff is a bit younger as well which is a noteworthy advantage and their weight is probably close. Riff Raff weighs himself in this video at 215lbs which is probably close to 50 Cent who carries around a fair bit of muscle himself.
It is unclear if this is a legitimate challenge or just some kind of promotional thing or inside joke but 50 Cent has yet to respond to this ‘challenge’ and likely has bigger fish to fry such as a budding film career as well as various business interests.
